Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath meets top bureaucrats, set to hold first Cabinet meet today

New Delhi: A day after taking oath as 21st CM of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath on Monday held meetings with top bureaucrats including Director General of Police Javeed Ahmed, Home Secretary Debasish Panda and Chief Secretary Rahul Bhatnagar at VVIP house in Lucknow. He is also set to hold his first Cabinet meeting today and is expected to allot portfolios to his ministers. Reports also say that he may visit his constituency Gorakhpur later in the day.
Yesterday, the newly-appointed chief minister strictly advised party workers to avoid brash talk and asked all his ministers to provide details of their income, moveable and immoveable assets within a fortnight (15 days).

Earlier on Sunday, the Hindu bigot addressed a press conference in the state and vowed to pursue the agenda of ‘sabka sath, sabka vikas’. “Our government would stick to the principle of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikaas. We would ensure development for all, without any sort of discrimination on lines of caste, creed or religion, ” Yogi Adityanath told media persons. He claimed that the previous governments were corruption-ridden because of which the state had suffered.
