CII held an interactive session on GST

The confederation of Indian Industries today held an interactive session on “Transition to GST implementation” in New Delhi. The session was held in collaboration with the Ministry of Finance, Government of India.
Speaking at the event, CII Chairman, Hrishankar Subramaniam said that GST one of the most important tax reforms of the country since independence which has brought the entire country within a unified taxation system.

“It is extremely important to address all the issues related to GST to ensure smooth transition and implementation of the law. This interactive session was is being held to answer various queries and doubts, that people have been facing regarding the law,” Navin Kumar, Chairman Goods and Services Tax Network said.

The interactive session was moderated by Harishankar Subramaniam, SK Panda, PK Jain, Sanjiv Shrivastava, Yogindra Garg, Rajeev Yadav and Nitin Mishra. A large number of perple participated in the sessions and various issues related to GST were made clear to public.
