Vintage Cars rally on Feb 17, 100 Vintage Cars of World to take part!

New Delhi: If you are a car lover, especially a connoisseur of the vintage cars and eager to see those, then February 17 and 18 would be a perfect day for you, where more than 100 vintage cars of the world will take part in a 8th edition of Vintage Car rally.

The 21 Gun Salute Heritage and Cultural Trust in an association with the Union Ministry of Tourism is going to hold two-day Vintage Cars Rally, which will be flagged off from India Gate to Ambience Greens Golf Course, Gurugram. The rally will start from India Gate and will touch major historic points of the city before reaching to Gurugram, said Founder and Managing Trustee of ’21 Gun Salute Heritage and Cultural, Madan Mohan during a press conference on Tuesday here.

As many as 100s’ of rare, premium and legendary Vintage Cars of the World will take part in the rally. Such as, 1939 Delage D8 120 – the USA, 1922 Bentelay – Australia, 1908 Rolls Royce Silver Dawn and so on.

Today, four cars from that list – 1922 Moon, 1933 Cardillac V-12, 1949 Buick Roadmaster and 1942 Packard 180 Limo were displayed, which will take part in the rally.

While addressing the media, Founder of the ‘21 Gun Salute Heritage and Cultural’, Madan Mohan said that the 8th edition of 21 Gun Salute international Vintage Car Rally and Concours show is probably the only event, where cars will be coming across boundaries of the Indian subcontinent. “We welcome you to experience majestic status. Power, identity and incomparable beauty amidst many vintage and classic cars, though this mega event in Delhi.”

Besides showing the rich automotive heritage to the world, the rally will also take up a social cause of raising funds for children with special needs.

“We got a huge support from the Union Ministry of Tourism to oraganise this rally.”

Later, Manujudan Shah, a vintage cars enthusiast and an associate of the ’21 Gun Battle also praised the effort of Ministry to conduct such rallies.
