Was reminded of Gauri Lankesh murder: Umar on being attacked
Speaking minutes after escaping unhurt on being shot at by an unknown assailant, JNU activist Umar Khalid on Monday said he was reminded of what happened to veteran journalist Gauri Lankesh. He added that he was very scared at the moment when the man pointed a gun at him. Lankesh was shot dead outside her house in Bengaluru in 2017.
