New Delhi: Pakistan Cricket Team Captain Sarfraz Ahmed is disappointed that cricket is being targeted after the Pulwama terror attack and said the India-Pakistan World Cup game should go ahead as planned.



Where on the other side Indian Cricket Team captain Virat Kohli on Saturday said that his team will respect the decision of the government” with regards to playing Pakistan in the upcoming World Cup in the wake of the Pulwama terror attacks where 40 CRPF personnel were martyred.

Kohli reiterated the sentiments of coach Ravi Shastri and said that the team will go ahead with whatever the Indian government and the Board of Control for Cricket in India decides.

“Our sincere condolences to the families of CRPF soldiers who lost their lives in Pulwama attack. We stand by what the nation wants to do and what the BCCI decides to do. We will go by what the government and the Board decides, we will respect that,” Kohli said.
