Yamuna Authority CEO orders FIR against ‘Lekhpal’ for indulging in corrupt malpractices, had attempted to dupe 25lakh rupees!

Yamuna Authority CEO Arun Veer Singh has ordered FIR to be filled against ‘Lekhpal’ Rajkumar Singh of YEIDA after a departmental probe revealed his questionable role in an attempted financial fraud pertaining to release of compensation cheque amounting over 25 lakh rupees.
The incident came to light when actual compensation beneficiary Nemwati approached Yamuna Authority to inquire about her compensation. On inquiry it was revealed that a cheque under her name has already been released however the norms such as pasting picture of beneficiary and taking signs of witnesses were found to be subdued.
The Authority conducted further probe and contacted the bank on which the cheque had gone for clearance. A bank account was also created on the name of Nemvati through fabricated documents. The cheque payment were stopped by the manager after being informed of the alleged fraud being committed under pretense of a fake beneficiary.
Internal probe in this case revealed complicit role of Lekhpal Rajkumar Singh who was found accused of committing the fraud. An FIR henceforth has been ordered by YEIDA CEO in this regard.
