TN- How you propose to make Yamuna expressway more safer as thousands of lives lost in accidents?

AS- we have already started working on the whole Yamuna expressway and we found the many recommendations of different agencies have not been implemented. So we have given timelines to Jaypee Infratech that it should be by the 31st March latest. We are also bringing some new technologies in the expressway, so that we would be able to reduce the accidents and also improve the quality of the traffic.

TN- How much industrial development has been done so far ?
AS- As far as the industrial development is concerned we have started allotting land to the industries and also to the electronic manufacturing clusters, we have allotted land to the companies like lava, intex mobile company and they will start manufacturing from here. We have also allotted huge piece of land to patanjali for their FMCG product line and they have already started their construction. We also have some applications pending with us which we will start allotting from the next month.

TN- what’s your plan to attract more industrial investment?
AS – Our main focus is industrial development because we want to make it as industrial hub and mobile electronic manufacturing hub that’s why we are attracting different companies, Chinese companies and since government of India has given lot of subsidies like budget subsidy and land subsidy, so we are in contact with the big companies and they will install their units here.

TN- How you propose to solve the problems of home buyers who doesn’t get possessions on time?

AS- Actually the Yamuna Authority is facing the main crunch in relation to the possession of the land, after the land acquisition farmers have gone to the different courts, there were lot of litigation so finally we arrived at a solution that we have to pay 64.7 percent in no litigation to the farmers. Now we have identifying the area where no litigation can be disbursed and we have started disbursing the same and in the process we are getting free land for example the industrial allotment which we have made, have been free from litigation and possession has been handed over to the company. We are also having the big chunk of allottees twenty one thousand and we have started giving possession to them also and we have started developing five blocks simultaneously and in next two – three months we will be able to give possessions to them.

TN – What is the status of land earmarked for Jewar international airport?
AS – We have submitted the application to the civil aviation ministry on behalf of Uttar Pradesh government and they have asked for certain NOC’s like there is no heritage or monuments in that area and it is free from all such thing as it should not come in way when green field airport project comes. So we have given all those things and everything is ready and now it is the Civil Aviation Ministry which has to take call and the state government recommendation has been sent and with the new government which has come, we will request our MLA and Chief Minister and both government are same, it will be reality very soon.

TN – Sector road going parallel to the expressway is in badly damaged state, what is your action plan for landscaping and beautification?

AS- We have already started tendering and very soon we are going to construct that and in addition to that especially peak crossing like Galgotias University and other, we are going to have a beautification plan and very soon it will be a reality.

TN- In comparison with Noida and Greater Noida what are the bigger plan for Yamuna express way?
AS – We have a very big plan and now we are going beyond the boundaries of Gautam BUDH Nagar , we are moving towards Mathura, Agra and Vrindavan. We are planning to add two smart cities one is in Tappal Baajana and other at Mathura – Vrindavan cut and we are also planning to come up with a new township at Agra. These townships will have the latest world class facilities, the heritage and cultural aspects, so we can attract tourist from Delhi to Agra, so they can stay there and have cultural and religious tourism and other can also be attributed and we are also planning to make chowki dhani like Rajasthan in Mathura Vrindavan and very good world class heritage cities will come up along the Yamuna express way . We have big institutional land so we can have the world class universities here and are in talks with us . We hope in this year we will able to allot big chunk of land to them, so world class institutions and universities can come up.

TN – What about the metro plans for express way ?
AS – As far as metro rail is concerned, we have already conceived the idea and our board has approved the metro on surface, so it’s going to be up toJewar as airport is there and given the study to the DMRC and will going to approve it.
