YEIDA cancels building plans for 17 projects, makes new norms stricter

 Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority has cancelled seventeen building layout plans after finding different irregularities in these projects.

The plans that have been affected belong to different real-estate groups including Gaur Sons and Jaypee Infratech.

Speaking to Ten News YEIDA CEO Arun Veer Singh said, ” we have cancelled building plans for these projects after doing an enquiry on several complaints received about these projects. The investigations started after an RTI activists brought these things to my notice. Amounts deposited by these builders have also been forfeited in the action”.
He further added,”Now these builders have to submit new building plans and seek fresh approvals. We have also made appropriate norms to keep tab on project delays and fine will be imposed if any such thing appears during construction and possession”.
