Sixtieth board meeting of Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority was conducted today in which a total budget of 4,156.13 crore has been sanctioned.

Immediately after the meeting Ten News spoke to Yamuna Industrial Expressway Authority Chairman Arun Veer Singh who elaborated on the fine prints of this budget.

On question of this being termed as a very buyer friendly budget, CEO Dr. Arun Veer Singh said ,”A lot of concessions have been offered directly to buyers. In the interest rate itself we have given a concession of about 1.5% and have also vowed to offer more relief if any other such change happens. We have also waived off the Penal charge. Buyers have also been offered a provision to withdraw at any time from the scheme and take back their money at 6% interest”.

On being asked about any changes made to plot transfer fee, which buyers have often claimed to be very high in YEIDA plots, CEO Arun Veer Singh said,”As of now we have decided to put restrictions on agreement to lease as the possessions haven’t been given yet. So first of all we want to give possession and do lease and then only we can discuss about transfer charges. However we will try our best to do the needful in this regard as well”.

He also added,”For now we have waived all the charges such as water charge, sewer charge, ramp charge, electricity charge etc. So we have already offered a concession of one to one and half lakh to the allottees”.

Talking about what is in this budget for farmers and villagers the CEO said, “We have decided to build model villages for farmers. We are also planning to make RWA’s in villages. The width of roads in villages will also be expanded to match as that of our cities. We will also develop park and facilities in these villages. We will make sectors in the villages. We want to remove this rural-urban gap and make each one of our region equally well-developed”.

He also said that during these endeavors the focus will be on saving resources and energy and all the electrification in these villages will make use of solar and led lights.
