राज्य चुनाव आयोग द्वारा दिल्ली में वार्डों के नए परिसीमन की अधिसूचना का स्वराज इंडिया स्वागत करती है। दिल्ली नगर निगम के चुनाव में उतरने की अपनी योजना को पार्टी पहले ही सार्वजनिक कर चुकी है। ‘स्वराज’ की विचारधारा के अनुरूप पार्टी ने निर्णय लिया है कि पहला चुनावी हस्तक्षेप स्थानीय निकाय और नगर निगम चुनावों से करेगी।
लोकतंत्र के कुशल संचालन में स्थानीय निकायों और नगर प्रशासन की भूमिका और उसके महत्व को स्वराज इंडिया अच्छी तरह समझती है।
स्वराज इंडिया यह उम्मीद करती है कि चुनाव की तारीख़ की घोषणा भी जल्द से जल्द की जाएगी। पार्टी चुनाव में उतरने के लिए पुरी तरह तैयार है। ज्ञात हो कि पार्टी ने एक बड़े अभियान “जवाब दो, हिसाब दो” कैंपेन की शुरूआत की है जिसमें दिल्ली के 10 लाख घरों से सीधा संवाद होगा। “जवाब दो, हिसाब दो” कैंपेन का समापन 12 फ़रवरी को ऐतिहासिक रामलीला मैदान में होगा।
Statement by Swaraj India
Swaraj India welcomes the State Election Commission’s decision to notify fresh delimitation of wards in Delhi. The party has already made public it’s plans to contest the upcoming elections of Municipal Corporation of Delhi. In line with the vision of Swaraj, the party has decided that it’s first foray into elections would be through the local bodies and municipal governance.
Swaraj India understands the role and importance of local bodies and municipal governance for efficient functioning of any democracy.
Swaraj India hopes that the election dates shall be notified as soon as possible. The party is all set and geared up for the contest. It is to be noted that the party has initiated a massive campaign named “Jawab Do Hisab Do” to reach out to ten lakh households in Delhi which would culminate into an event on February 12 at the historic Ramleela Maidan.
