5 key roads may soon be out of bounds for trucks

In a bid to ease congestion on main roads, the Noida Authority has planned to restrict the entry of trucks and other heavy commercial vehicles during peak hours from November.

According to the proposal, heavy vehicles and other goods carriers, including matadors and tempos, will not be allowed to use five arterial roads of the city between 7-11am in the morning and between 5-9pm in the evening, from November 1.
