6000 villagers from border areas shifted to relief camps in J&K: Govt

Nearly 6000 villagers from the border areas in Jammu & Kashmir have been shifted to the relief camps established in Kathua district in view of continued crossborder firing by Pakistan.

“16 relief camps have been established in Kathua where around 6000 people have migrated from 43 border villages in view of heavy shelling across International Border in Hiranagar sector,”deputy commissioner, Kathua, Shahid Iqbal Choudhary said.
