BJP MP and Delhi Pradesh Chief Manoj Tiwari who have been in touch with the SSC protesters from last two days backed their demands for the CBI probe in alleged SSC Examination scam said that the SSC has approved student’s demand and Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is ready to launch the probe in the alleged SSC examination scam.
He said, “Few hours ago, I got a call from Home Minister Rajnath Singh and he informed that the CBI enquiry has been initiated in alleged SSC paper leak or scam. He further said that, convey this message to the students who have been protesting that their demands were met and they can end their protest now.”
while addressing media at party office today he said,
“I accompanied with Member of Parliament and party spokesperson Meenakshi Lekhi conveyed the same to the protesters. Hearing it, most of the protesters left the place after our assurance, however, some of them still protesting and decided to call the protest off after seeing the confirmation letter of CBI enquiry,” he said adding that this incident proves that the BJP government is against the corruption and committed to root it out from the country.
Alleged scam and corruption in the recently happened in the Combined Graduate Level (CGL ) tier II examination between February 17 to 21 across the nation aspirants had launched protest at Staff Selection Commission (SSC) headquarter, New Delhi since February 26, 2018 and had been demanding for CBI enquiry in it.
Earlier in the day, Manoj Tiwari accompanied with a delegation of protestors met with the Home Minister Rajnath Singh at his residence and asked for the immediate action. Later, Home Minister summoned SSC Chairman Ashim Khurana and they had meeting of around half an hour.
“I’m overwhelmed with the prompt response of Home Minister and finally the students demand has been fulfilled.” Manoj Tiwari added.
