Delhi violence: Kejriwal appeals for peace, tells center to increase police and order action

New Delhi (25/02/2020): Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal held a meeting with his MLAs in the last two days in the country’s capital Delhi. During this time, the Delhi CM asked all the MLAs to go to the area and appeal to the people for peace. Arvind Kejriwal said that the policemen are not getting orders from above, so they are not able to take any action.

Arvind Kejriwal churned with his MLAs on the deteriorating situation in Delhi. After the meeting, the Chief Minister of Delhi said, ‘We have ordered all the hospitals to be on alert, if anyone is injured, they should be given due consideration. Apart from this, the Fire Department has been told that they along with the Police Department should immediately reach the places of incident.’

The Delhi Chief Minister said that the MLAs of the violence area complained that the police force is very low and that is why the police is not able to take action in front of the crowd. Arvind Kejriwal alleged that policemen are not getting orders from above, I will talk to Union Home Minister Amit Shah this time.

Regarding the violence, the Delhi CM said that people are coming from outside the border area, in such a situation the Delhi Police should make some arrests so that the atmosphere does not deteriorate.
