Noida, (13/1/2019): The NGY Infra Conclave 2019, which is an initiative by Greycell Marcom to celebrate the marvellous achievements of Noida, Greater Noida, and Yamuna Expressway (NGY) recently held in Noida. The conclave focused on cherishing the achievements of the region with an intention to highlight the potential perspective.
The panellist shared their views on the theme “An Area of Opportunities” and try to evolve a consensus on ways and means to achieve the perceived image of a futuristic NGY region.
In the inaugural session all the panellist shared their views about the ongoing problems in Gautam Budh Nagar.
Yogendra Narain, Ex Chief Secretary U.P, in his inaugural speech said, “that the NGY Conclave is an outstanding initiative to discuss the problems of the GBN. It also allows the residents to give their suggestions and share their point of view.”
He thanked Dr. Mahesh Sharma and Pankaj Singh for their presence.
He also said, Noida is an industrial hub and along with industries the population also increases. The motive of this conclave is to discuss the problems the population of Noida is facing and to discuss about the solutions for their problems.
Noida MLA Pankaj Singh, while addressing the conclave said,
Noida is gaining popularity amongst the top cities of the country. UP govt has been working towards the betterment of Noida. But with this development, many problems like traffic and sanity along with the problem of waste and garbage were also increasing. With these events, we can talk about these issues, and decide what work should be done accordingly to solve them. Noida has been a hub for industries, and industrial waste in Noida is increasing day by day, so it will be a concern for Noida authorities and administration to work towards it and solve these issues.
Along with this, the problem of traffic is also an issue for Noida and I request authorities responsible to work accordingly. And I assure them that Government will be helping them in every possible way to solve the issue of traffic in Noida.
Vimla Batham, Chairperson, U.P. State Commission for Women, said,
Dr. Mahesh Sharma is helping in the development of Gautam Budh Nagar and MLA, Pankaj Singh is working for the rapid development of Noida.
When we came here in Noida, it was all jungle and no development was there. I have seen Noida growing like a child. People residing here are responsible for the development of Noida. The Main development of GBN happened because of the industries being brought up here. And develop GBN as an industrial hub.
When the population increases due to the industries, residential sectors were built to match the need of the growing population. After that when the need of resources increases, it was developed into a commercial sector also.
Now Noida has become the heart of UP. People from all over the country knows Noida because of the development in the industrial sector.
Dr. Mahesh Sharma, Union Minister, while addressing the conclave, said,
This city has given everyone a lot. This country is connected with tradition of India. And we have to make the tradition of India stronger to maintain this connection. This city is related to many inspiration and many dreams which has come true for a lot of people. People of India are very emotional and act with emotions.
Gurgaon is developed because airport has been built there. And now Noida will be having the privilege of having an airport. An airport develops 100 kms of the nearby area. Which means that Jewar Airport will be a revolution for Gautam Budh Nagar. The Jewar Airport will be in the area of 5000 acres, which will be the largest airport in India.
The population of Noida is around 12 lakhs. And as we know, residential complexes and societies in Noida, have around 4 lakhs flats that are being vacated. Which means when these flats will be occupied the population will also increase. So, the authorities must have to work in a manner where they can meet the needs of the people of GBN.
Senior citizens are also increasing in Noida. I consider them as blessing banks. 25 acres in sector 94 has been ready and will be shortly inaugurated for the senior citizen.
Air quality index has been an issue of worry for Noida and no government can solve this issue alone. The citizens must have to act according to the policies of government to curb the problem of pollution in Noida.
Now, we have to be more alert and act in a proactive manner to solve these issues and to stop Noida from becoming a messed up city.

Anisha Meshram, Commissioner, Meerut, speaking on Jewar Airport. The space identified for the airport is very well connected to every aspect required to have the airport. The airport will be having a better road connectivity. This airport will ease many nearby cities and will also increase the business in the nearby cities.
