AAGHAZ 2026 Concludes on a High Note at GIMS, Greater Noida

Greater Noida News (12/02/2026): The annual cultural and sports festival of the Government Institute of Medical Sciences (GIMS), Greater Noida, AAGHAZ 2026, concluded with a grand valedictory ceremony, celebrating days of vibrant performances, competitive spirit, and collective achievement by students.

The closing ceremony was attended by Dr. Nidhi Pundir, Senior Vice President, HCLTech and HCL Foundation, who graced the occasion as the Special Guest. Addressing the gathering, she emphasized the significance of nurturing creativity, leadership, and personal growth alongside professional excellence, inspiring students to pursue a well-rounded approach to life and careers.

The programme was held under the leadership of Director Dr. Brig Rakesh Gupta, with Dean Dr. Rambha Pathak and Chief Medical Superintendent Dr. Saurabh Srivastava also present on the dais. Heads of various departments, faculty members, and a large number of students participated, lending the event the feel of a proud institutional celebration.

During the ceremony, students and teams who performed exceptionally in sports and cultural competitions were felicitated with trophies, medals, and certificates. Each announcement was met with enthusiastic applause, reflecting the spirit of camaraderie and healthy competition that defined the festival.

One of the most anticipated moments of the evening was the declaration of the Inter-Batch Championship Trophy. Batch 2022 emerged as the overall winner, securing the title through consistent performance and active participation across multiple events throughout the fest.

AAGHAZ 2026 was successfully organized by the Student Council and Extracurricular Committees of GIMS, Greater Noida. Their coordinated efforts and dedication ensured smooth conduct of events and created a memorable experience for participants and spectators alike. The valedictory function concluded with a sense of pride, unity, and accomplishment, as students and faculty looked forward to an even more dynamic and grand celebration in the coming year.
