#AAP welcomes EC direction on gas pricing.

The Aam Aadmi Party welcomes the election commission direction to the Central Government to defer its decision of doubling the prices of natural gas from April 1. The AAP Congratulates the people of the country for having supported the party stand on the issue.
This dishonest decision of the UPA Government, which is on its way out, was solely aimed at providing huge undue benefits to the RIL and would have resulted in a loss of more than 54,500 crore rupees to the national exchequer.
The EC decision within four days of the AAP National Convenor’s letter to the Commission shows that in a hurry to benefit the RIL, the UPA Government had clearly violated the Model Code of Conduct.
The EC decision comes as a major relief for the common man who would otherwise have suffered under the impact of the hike in transportation and fertilizer costs, which would have also pushed up the prices of all essential commodities.
The gas pricing the issue has not only exposed the Congress but also the BJP and particularly its prime ministerial Candidate Mr. Narendra Modi, who has been maintaining a mysterious silence on this crucial issue.
In the coming days the AAP will further expose the nexus between the RIL and Congress-BJP combine.
