ADG Major General Vikram Kumar Reviews NCC Inter-Group Training Camp in Noida

GREATER NOIDA News (19 November 2025): Additional Director General (ADG) of the National Cadet Corps, Major General Vikram Kumar, visited the Inter-Group Competition and Training Camp being conducted under the aegis of the NCC Group Headquarters, Ghaziabad, at Panchsheel Balak Inter College, Noida. The camp brought together cadets from all 11 groups of the NCC Uttar Pradesh Directorate, showcasing discipline, teamwork, and competitive spirit.

The ADG was ceremonially welcomed with a Guard of Honour presented by the NCC cadets. He later inspected the ongoing activities and interacted with participants across various training modules. The events included drill practice, leadership tasks, cultural competitions, and field training exercises, reflecting the comprehensive curriculum followed during NCC camps.

During his address to the cadets, Major General Kumar commended their performance and dedication.

He also briefed them about significant upcoming NCC activities, including the Republic Day Camp, Youth Exchange Programme (YEP), and several national-level training and adventure events. Encouraging the cadets to aim higher, he urged them to prepare with discipline and commitment for these prestigious opportunities.

As part of the ceremony, the ADG presented awards and certificates to cadets who excelled in different competitions held during the camp. Senior NCC officials — including Group Commanders from all NCC Groups of the Uttar Pradesh Directorate — were present to witness the proceedings and support the cadets. The visit reaffirmed NCC’s mission of fostering leadership, character-building, and national service among youth, while boosting the morale of participants ahead of upcoming state and national-level events.
