Delhi, August 31st,2022: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday launched the first virtual school for students across India who are unable to attend physical classes.
Making the announcement via a video briefing, Kejriwal said that India’s first virtual school will be a revolutionary move.
Called Delhi Model Virtual School(DMVS), it will cater to students from classes 9th to 12th.
The admission process for the same would begin on next Wednesday.
“The admission to the schooling platform will be open for students across India and they will also be prepared by experts for entrance exams like NEET, CUET, and JEE along with skill-based training,” Kejriwal said.
“We are starting this virtual school to ensure the students get educated. This school is inspired by virtual classes that had been necessitated due to the Covid-19 pandemic,” he added.
The AAP leader noted that the school was formed to help the children of our country who cannot travel for education, who cannot afford the fees, or for the parents who don’t want to send their daughters away from their homes.
The school will be affiliated with the Delhi Board of School Education.
Students from across India would be able to take admission by applying through the website – www.dmvs.ac.in.
