Arvind Kejriwal promises free education if voted to power in Gujarat

Gujarat, August 17th, 2022: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on August 16th announced that free and quality education would be provided to all citizens, if AAP was elected to power in the year-end Assembly elections of the state.

“All those born in Gujarat will get free and quality education. We will provide the best education for free,” said the AAP leader, addressing a town hall at Bhuj in Kutch district.

Adding to his pre-poll promise, Kejriwal also promised to improve the infrastructure of existing government schools and set up a number of new schools as well.

Kejriwal further says that if AAP forms the next government in Gujarat, then all the private schools will be audited and made to return “extra money” collected from parents just like his government has done in Delhi.

Lastly, he promised job security to all the teachers in the state.

Kejriwal during his earlier tours to Gujurat has made several other promises too related to the upliftment of women, tribals, electricity, unemployment, etc before the upcoming elections.
