New Delhi (India), 10th May 2023: At the age of 79, legendary Hollywood actor Robert De Niro disclosed that he had welcomed a baby, making him a father of seven children. The multiple Academy Award winner revealed the news in an interview with ET Canada while promoting his upcoming film, “About My Father.”
While talking about his parenting experience De Niro admitted that he had to be a “stern” parent to his other six children at times.
He further said, “I mean, there’s no way around it with kids. I don’t like to have to lay down the law and stuff like that, but (sometimes) you just have no choice. And any parent, I think, would say the same thing. You always want to do the right thing by the children and give them the benefit of the doubt but sometimes you can’t.”
During the interview he said that he had six children, but immediately commented, “Seven, actually. I just had a baby.”
Drena and Raphael with first wife Diahnne Abbott, twins Julian and Aaron with ex Toukie Smith, and Elliot and Helen Grace with second wife Grace Hightower are reportedly his other children from prior relationships.
However, ‘The Godfather II’ actor did not reveal any additional information about the child or his partner, but he is supposedly dating Tiffany Chen, a martial arts teacher who played a Tai Chi instructor in his 2015 comedy film “The Intern.”
