Ayan Mukerji targets December 2026 release for Brahmastra sequel

Mumbai (India), 5th April 2023: Fans have been impatiently expecting for the second instalment of the Ranbir Kapoor-starring ‘Brahmastra Part One: Shiva’ movie. In order to heighten the anticipation, Ayan Mukerji has finally revealed the release dates for the second and third acts of his monumental work.

Ayan Mukerji announced the release date for ‘Brahmastra Part Two: Dev’ and ‘Brahmastra Part Three’ on his Instagram account on Tuesday. He stated that the second instalment of his movie would be published in December 2026, and the third and final instalment would follow a year later, in 2027.

Ayan Mukerji promised in his statement that Brahmastra 2 and 3 will be “bigger” than the first portion and added that he will be collaborating on the two movies.

He wrote in a post on Instagram, “After absorbing all the love and feedback on Part One…I have been focused on creating the vision for Part Two and Part Three – which I now know will be bigger and more ambitious than Part One!”

Additionally, Ayan stated that he will be directing another movie very soon. He wrote, “I also have another piece of news to share…The Universe has presented me with a very special opportunity recently – a very special movie – to step into and direct! What the movie is…more on that when the time is right.”
