Kanika Kapoor, well-known for her superhits like ‘Baby Doll’, ‘Jugni’, ‘Chittiyan Kalaiyaan’ and ‘Desi Look’ has tested positive for coronavirus, the singer confirmed through an Instagram post.
Kanika had travelled to London recently and arrived in Lucknow on March 15. She didn’t even informed authorities about her travel history and kept it hidden, also risking others.
The singer also hosted a party for her friends and family at a hotel in Lucknow after returning from London, which was attended by high-profile bureaucrats, politicians and socialites with strength of over 100 people.
Although no other person in contact with Kanika has tested positive for the virus yet but still the health department has asked all people in her contact to self-isolate.
