Bali, Nov 16, 2022: The final day of annual two-day G20 Summit which began on Tuesday in Bali, Indonesia kicked off with increased political tensions over a missile strike in Poland which killed two people.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi engaged in bilateral talks with the French president Emmanuel Macron. He also addressed several issues at the G20 Summit today.

PM Modi said, “It is responsibility of G-20 leaders that benefits of digital transformation should not be confined to small part of human race.” With India set to take over G20 presidency next year, PM Modi stated that the principle of ‘data for development’ will be a crucial element of India’s G-20 Presidency theme “One Earth, One Family, One Future”.

“PM Modi’s message that era not of war resonated very deeply across all delegations and helped bridge the gap across different parties,” said foreign secretary Vinay Mohan Kwatra on G20 Bali Declaration while highlighting PM Modi’s “era not of war” advice to Putin in Bali on Wednesday.

As the two-day Bali G20 summit came to an end, Indonesian leader Widodo handed over the G20 presidency responsibility to PM Narendra Modi.
