Bank cashier’s body found in Noida sector 53 drain

The body of a man was found floating in a drain in Sector 53 on Tuesday morning. The family of the deceased claimed he was an alcoholic, but police are yet to ascertain the actual cause of death.

Police said the deceased has been identified as Dhirpal Singh Kashyap, 58, a native of Jahangirpuri in Delhi. He had been working as cashier with Punjab and Sindh Bank on the NTPC campus in Sector 24. He started employment with the bank a year and a half ago.
