New Delhi: (03/08/2019) Bollywood Macho Man John Abraham is coming with up his upcoming movie ‘Batla House’ which has been directed by Nikkhil Advani. The film has been high on the buzzword ever since it was revealed that the duo is collaborating for yet another project. The Movie also stars Mrunal Thakur, Ravi Kishan, Prakash Raj and Manish Chaudhari in important roles.
Nikkhil Advani’s movie stars John Abraham as Sanjay Kumar, who is modelled on Sanjeev Kumar Yadav. Ravi Kishen plays Kishen Verma, based on Mohan Chand Sharma, the other officer who fought alongside Yadav and died during the operation. Mrunal Thakur is Sanjay Kumar’s wife Nandita and Manish Chaudhari his boss. Rajesh Sharma plays a defence attorney.
While talking about the movie John said, “The Batla House encounter was momentous during the time it happened in 2008 in Delhi. A senior cop got martyred and the boys who were killed… one still doesn’t know whether they were terrorists or just students. So i was really excited to play the role of the cop. I hope people will like movie.”
The Actress, Mrunal Thakur said, “The shoot was a memorable experience as it marked my first trip to Mussoorie. I was excited to shoot in those cable cars. John is great fun to be with. I am so blessed to be sharing screen space with someone like him who is committed, focused and constantly on a tryst to reinvent himself.”
