Championing Grassroots Institutions
Prof. Vimla, Vice Chancellor of Maa Shakumhari University, offered a heartfelt address. Despite limited resources, our university is nurturing potential. We are participating in national-level projects and building partnerships, including one with Jamia Millia Islamia, as part of a cluster model to strengthen academic collaboration. She emphasized the importance of small and new universities stepping up to contribute to the Aatma Nirbhar Bharat (self-reliant India) vision.
A Vision for Greater Noida as India’s Educational Silicon Valley
Prerna Singh, ACEO of Greater Noida Authority, praised the vision of GNIDA CEO Ravi Kumar NG, calling him the “brainchild” behind uniting India’s educational and technological leaders under one roof. This expo symbolizes Greater Noida’s emergence as the Silicon Valley of India. It’s not just about infrastructure—it’s about creating a canvas where students are the artists of the future, she said. She added that Greater Noida is attracting educational institutions from across the globe, positioning itself not only as a residential hub but also an international education and innovation destination.
During her interaction with the media at the Bharat Shiksha Expo 2025, Prerna Singh, expressed pride in hosting the second edition. She noted that over 15,000 students have already visited the expo, which features participation from leading institutions across Greater Noida, along with university representatives and technical teams. The event, organized under the guidance of Chief Secretary Manoj Singh and GNIDA CEO Ravi Kumar NG, in collaboration with IEML, aims to expose students to the latest advancements in technology, particularly AI, and help them explore career-relevant courses.
Speaking on how the second edition differs from the first, she said that organizing the initial edition, held in September, involved extensive effort and planning due to the challenge of establishing a clear vision. However, with the success of the first edition, this year’s event has gained momentum and greater clarity of purpose. Held in April—an ideal time for academic planning—it allows students to explore future academic paths and offers institutions a platform to connect with prospective students. The first edition was about understanding the vision, while the second is about realizing it, Singh concluded, congratulating all stakeholders for the successful execution of the expo.

In his vote of thanks, Sachin Sinha, CFO of IEML, acknowledged the collaborative spirit of all stakeholders. This is not just an event—it’s a movement. Let’s keep the momentum going and shape a brighter, bolder future for Indian education, he concluded.
The Bharat Shiksha Expo 2025 promises to be a transformative milestone in the nation’s educational journey.
