BIMTECH Organised Five-Day Faculty Development Programme on “FINANCE FOR NON-FINANCE PERSONS”

Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMTECH) in association with AICTE Training and Learning (ATAL) organised its Five-Day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “FINANCE FOR NON-FINANCE PERSONS”. Programme was scheduled from 20th Sep 2021 to 24th Sep 2021.

The FDP program received an overwhelming response with more than 250 participants from various institutes/organisations from all over India, where only 70+ applications were accepted.

FDP was inaugurated by Dr. H. Chaturvedi, Director of the institute and he talked about the changing needs and roles of finance in the recent decades. He also stressed that finance is the necessary subject to understand for everyone and the five days Faculty Development Programme is a capsule view of finance as a discipline. He expressed his gratitude towards all the participants and resource persons who spared their time to join the programme.

Finance is the life blood for any organization. Finance integrates all other functional areas of management. Today managers understand that their decision is going to have a serious impact on profits and earning potential of the business yet they find it difficult to comprehend the financial aspects and take a holistic view of the business. The programme on Finance for Non-Finance Persons aims to facilitate in developing understanding on the critical issues of finance for better decision making.
