BIMTECH’s Dr. Rahul Singh bags AICTE Dr. Pritam Singh Award as ‘Best Management Faculty’
Dr. Rahul Singh, Professor and Chair – Strategy, Innovation and Entrepreneurship at BIMTECH, Greater Noida has been honored with the prestigious ‘AICTE Dr. Pritam Singh Award 2021’ which will be conferred to him by the Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Teachers Day.
The award, named after acclaimed management guru and Padma Shri awardee, Pritam Singh, has been introduced for the first time to identify teachers and recognize their excellence, best practices and innovativeness in the field of management education at national level.
The selection of meritorious teachers from AICTE approved institutions for this award is carried out through a rigorous screening with parameters such as teaching effectiveness, academic research, sponsored research / FDPs / consultancy, academic institution / leadership / management and outreach activities.
When asked about his spectacular achievement, Dr. Singh said, “I am honoured to receive AICTE – Dr Pritam Singh Award, as Best Management Faculty in Professor Category for 2021. This is recognition to all in the academic fraternity who are making effort to keep academic values going, as Prof Pritam Singh practiced it in his life.”
“I feel privileged on recognition but making of an academic is not possible alone. My mentors, colleagues, fraternity, students and alumni and family and friends have contributed so much in my academic journey,” he added.
Dr. Singh further acknowledged the contribution of BIMTECH’s leadership in fostering the growth of faculty members. He said, “BIMTECH has been my learning lab and experiment lab in management education. I think it was very wise to stay at one place, for almost 19 years now, and grow in academic learning and contributions. The academic freedom and space is unlimited for those who want to work and contribute. Dr Chaturvedi, Director has grand appetite to kill the bugs and create all support system for growth of an academic. The culture and environment is one of the best ones in the country in the academic fraternity.”
