When asked about the differences from last year’s edition, Brijesh Mathur explained, While last year marked the first edition of the BMC Advisors Northern India Polo Championship, this year we have elevated the event with several exciting new elements. Our championship is over 102 years old, and this year, we’re incorporating live streaming of both the exhibition match and the final, which will allow polo enthusiasts from all around the globe to watch the action unfold. In addition, we’ve already received confirmations from diplomats, and the number of participants has significantly increased.
Sushma Mathur added, This year’s championship is a major upgrade, and we are looking forward to seeing how it unfolds.

The championship features four top-tier teams, each with exceptional talent. The teams include The Achievers, Jaipur Delta, Jindal Panther, and Jindal Crest. All four teams are expected to showcase high-level polo action, and fans can expect some thrilling moments as the championship progresses.

Currently, there are only around 40 to 50 professional polo players in India. We hope that by hosting events like this, we can increase that number and bring greater attention to polo in the country.
