Bollywood’s latest sensation Ishaan Khatter promotes “Beyond The Clouds” along with Majid Majidi in Delhi

New Delhi: The star cast of upcoming film ‘Beyond the Clouds’ directed by Internationally acclaimed Iranian director Majid Majidi were in town to promote his upcoming film.
Their film Beyond the Clouds will hit Indian screen’s on April 20, 2018.
Speaking in the promotional event, director Majid Majidi who is known for his Iranian film Muhammad: The Messenger of God said, “Satyajit Ray’s films had an effect on me. (They inspired me) to follow a certain interpretation of life. And (I would like) to influence younger generation. As I seen the story and plot, the first thing came into my mind is India. Then I moved to India to make this film and after a long journey here we are.”
The trailer was recently released on YouTube which drew huge appreciation from the film critics.
The trailer explores the story of a brother-sister duo from Mumbai who is struggling with poverty. Ishaan’s character is looking to make it big in the world and takes the illegal route that involves peddling drugs. However, the stakes reach a new height when his sister played by Malavika Mohanan is arrested for his crimes and suffers in prison. Overall, it promises to be an intense and emotional drama that explores the underbelly of Mumbai.
Later, lead actor of film Ishaan Khattar (younger brother of Shahid Kapoor) and lead actress Malavika Mohanan shared their experience while shooting for the film.
Ishaan Khattar said, “I never thought that I will get opportunity to work with director like Majid Majidi at such initial stage of my career and I’m lucky to be part of this.”
While Malavika Mohanan who is debuting with this film in the bollywood said, “It is like a dream comes true. The experience was wonderful and we have high hopes from the movie”.
Moreover, Oscar award winner musician, A.R. Rahman’s has given the music which will take the movie into new heights. To sum it up, it is clear from the trailer that the film is going to be something extraordinary.
