Bollywood director Boney Kapoor came to see off his daughter Khushi Kapoor at the Mumbai airport. The father-daughter duo were seen getting all teary eyed while saying goodbye to each other. Khushi has left for the US to study a two-year acting course at New York Film Academy.

While Khushi was in a black jumpsuit, Boney was in a blue tracksuit. They also tried to lighten up their mood before the departure by sharing a good laugh together.

Khushi shares a good relationship with her cousin Shanaya Kapoor, daughter of Sanjay Kapoor. Her aunt Maheep shared a picture of the two girls on Instagram before the two could say goodbye to each other. She captioned it, “#OffToCollege #WillMissYou @khushi05k … Don’t do anything I wouldn’t do #HaveABlast.”

She was spotted recently with her father Boney and sister Janhvi Kapoor at the unveiling ceremony of late legendary actor Sridevi’s wax statute at Madame Tussauds in Singapore. Pictures from the event showed Janhvi touching the statue in an emotional moment.

In an interaction with media, filmmaker Boney Kapoor had revealed about Khushi’s plan to do modelling which later shifted to acting. He also talked about his daughter Anshula’s inclination towards academics.
Meanwhile, his son Arjun Kapoor and Janhvi are doing well in the film industry. Arjun will soon be shooting for his upcoming period drama, Panipat which will be directed by Ashutosh Gowariker. He will also star opposite Parineeti Chopra in Dibakar Banerjee’s Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar. His last film India’s Most Wanted couldn’t garner much attention at the box office.

On the other hand, Janhvi is busy working on her next films, Gunjan Saxena and RoohiAfza. Gunjan Saxena is based on the life of a fighter pilot and her look from the film is quite intriguing. In her other film, RoohiAfza she will be seen with Rajkummar Rao. She has also been finalised for Karan Johar’s Dostana 2 and Takht.
