Brawl in south Delhi over pub entry, woman alleges of misbehaviour by bouncers

New Delhi, 25 September 2022: Recently, at a Delhi nightclub, a fight between the bouncers and a group of customers broke at late evening hours during which one of the women customers claimed that a bouncer tore off a piece of her clothing.

CCTV footage has also been retrieved which captured parts of the brawl. Two men and a woman were seen conversing with a couple of bouncers at the entrance to Code in South Extension. An aggressive bouncer struck the other man as he dragged him out of the club, abruptly ending the negotiation that had begun with one of the men making threatening gestures.

The altercation then moved to the street, where both parties can be seen attacking one another. A lady who was not initially visible, joined the other side in an effort to separate the two males and bouncers as the altercation gets more heated. The women also made an effort to strike the bouncers.

A bouncer then pushed the man she was clinging onto at one point, causing one of the women to be forcibly dragged to the ground. She instantly stood back up and approached a bouncer, appearing to talk sense into him.

While the other woman is seen pushing the bouncers’ podium in an aggressive manner. Later, one of the involved woman was moved to AIIMS for medical attention, where she claimed that the bouncers tore a portion of her clothing.

The police have also registered an FIR. Following this, the accused bouncers have gone missing since.
