NOIDA :Today we interview a eminent personality and a veteran social activist of Noida retired Brigadier Ashok hak.He had served the nation for 34 years and participated in 65 & 71 war. Now he lives in Noida.
Here are some questions that we asked to him related to his life and thoughts.
What’s your biggest achievement so far ?
The biggest achievement of my life is to serve the nation for 34 years in Indian army. In 65 war I was on the frontline in Sialkot & in 71 in Bangladesh.
What was the greatest challenge you have faced in you career so far ?
The biggest challenge of my life was the war of 65 & 71 with Pakistan and in 71 we librated Bangladesh .
What is your success mantra ?
As in my life there is no success mantra but I would like to say that easiest way to be at peace with oneself is by helping the needy and giving positive contribution to the society .
Who’s your favorite role model or icon ?
Role modle of my life is father of nation Mahatama Gandhi because of his non violence thoughts .
Do u read books? Which book had influenced your thoughts?
I have read a lot of books but the Autobiography of Field Marshal Sham Manekshaw had influenced my thoughts to a great extent.
What kind of movie do you watch ?
If you talk of movies so I don’t have intrest in movies I had given my time in the service of nation and now it is for the Noida people
What’s your favorite sport?
I have a great interest in sports. I used to play golf but now I have opted out of it.
What’s your opinion on Narendra Modi as PM so Far ?
He is forward looking and doing a great job for the country doing reforms which obliviously got into bottle neck because people were used to a certain type of system. He is good and a great asset for the country.
