Cabinet minister present report card of Yogi Government on completion of 2.5 years

Greater Noida 18/9/19: On completing 2.5 Years of Yogi Government, Health and in-charge minister of Gautam Budh Nagar listed the achievements of the government and presented the report card during 2.5 years tenure.

 

Issues related to farmers was given major importance and every year farmers were given the price of their crops with an increased rate. Sugarcane dues was a long pending issue in the state, so since 2017 government has given 72 thousand crores including earlier dues to the farmers through online transfer, claimed the minister while addressing the press gathering. Farmers were getting Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana and 4 crore farmers were given soil health card after testing the quality of soil.

Further, Jai Pratap Singh told, “We had provided an environment in the state for investment and development. Today, every industrialist at home and abroad wants to invest in UP. Investors believe the state is free from the grip of bureaucratic hurdles and red tape. Our drive against corruption and goonda raj produced a bounty. Industrialists feel UP is now a safe place for investment. In the investor submit we secured huge investment and now these proposals are fast turning into reality ground-breaking ceremony for proposals worth Rs 1.25 lakh crore has already been held. An investment worth another Rs 65,000 crore is in the pipeline. Since we came to power, around Rs 2.5 lakh crore has been invested in UP.



Talking about Jewar airport, Jai Pratap said: “Work for the airport is going as per the schedule 745-hectare land is acquired and we are hoping groundbreaking ceremony soon”. “In the education sector we remained successful in curbing the malpractices use to happen at the time of board examination in the earlier government,” he said.

On builder –buyer issue he said the CM has personally shown interest in the matter when he visited Greater Noida last time and had ordered the responsible officers and the authority officials to take strict actions as per law. So that the buyers don’t have to suffer anymore.
