New Delhi, 12th May 2023: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the results for the Class XII Board examinations for the year.
The results are available on cbseresults.nic.in. Out of the 16 lakh students who appeared for the examinations this year, a passing rate of 87.33% has been observed. This marks a 4% increase from the pre-covid era when the rate was 83.4%.
Reports confirm over 1.12 lakh students have scored over 90% in their examinations, while 22,000 students exceeded the 95% threshold.
The board this year will just give a merit certificate to the students scoring the highest marks in various subjects and not release a merit list or division-wise marks since it gives rise to ‘unhealthy competition.’
