CBSE helpline opens, available till April 17

CBSE’s pre-examination counselling helpline for students and parents will start from Saturday and will continue its services till April 17, 2014. Multiple modes of communication such as telephonic counselling, question-answer columns in newspapers and online counselling through CBSE website are being used to reach out to maximum examinees.

This year, 59 principals, trained counsellors and a few psychologists will impart tele-counselling. As many as 49 of them are available in India, while 10 are located in Nepal, Saudi Arabia, Japan, UAE and Kuwait.

Students can dial a toll free number 1800 11 8004 from any part of the country which will give centralized access to the CBSE helpline. NGO Sehi, too, has opened its pre-exam helpline. Disha, the pre-exam helpline 011-65418181, is available from Saturday to March 3, 2014.
