Visakhapatnam, 20th May 2023: Former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and Telugu Desam Party leader Chandrababu Naidu hailed the RBI decision to withdraw the Rs.2000 notes.
He added that the move would aid in keeping a check on corruption and even electoral malpractises. The leader further added that distribution of the Rs.2000 notes play a major role in influencing people to vote for a particular party.
His statements come as RBI announced that it has decided to withdraw the Rs.2000 banknotes from circulation but will continue to be accepted as a legal tender in the country.
He further lashed out at the Andhra CM Jagan Mohan Reddy and alleged that he is ready to loot the whole state, pointing out the rising prices and inflation spread across.
