Deepika Padukone says Vin Diesel is in love with her

Deepika Padukone had earlier said that she has imaginary babies with Vin Diesel in her head.

Many hearts were broken when Deepika Padukone had admitted to her huge crush on her xXx Return of Xander Cage co-star Vin Diesel on The Ellen DeGenres show. "In my head I think, like yeah, we are together and we have this amazing chemistry, and we live together and we have these amazing babies! But it’s all in my head," she had said on the popular talk show.

But in an interview during the Cannes Film Festival, Deepika had a different version of events. When the interviewer told the Bajirao Mastani actor, "You seem to be a little bit in love with him," she laughed, "Excuse me? He is in love with me. Let’s set the record straight." Deepika continued, "He’s adorable. He’s just the most amazing person I’ve met. He’s generous and he’s kind and the reason I’ve had all these amazing experiences. Because of him and his faith in my talent and what I could do for the movie. He is a friend for life."


Reportedly, Vin is helping shape Deepika’s career in Hollywood, and is taking a look at all scripts coming her way. However, Deepika has not yet signed any Hollywood project so far after xXx: Return of Xander Cage. Instead, she is focusing on her next Bollywood film, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati, which also features Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh.
