New Delhi, 13th May 2023: Transport Department of Delhi Government along with the University of Chicago Trust (UC Trust) came together and siged a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to facilitate “an evidence-based approach to reducing vehicular pollution in Delhi”.
The partnership includes significant steps like setting up a research unit to design innovative policy interventions and use the data available to design and develop policy interventions and solutions to curb vehicular pollution in the Delhi-NCR region.
A Press release by the Energy Policy Institute at the University of Chicago, India (EPIC-India) added that the partnership also stands to facilitate knowledge exchange and high-quality data analysis between the institutions.
