New Delhi, 29 October 2022: The Delhi Police has arrested a 28-year-old man for allegedly killing a co-worker over a financial disagreement on Saturday.
The police had received information about a man to be lying unconscious at Udhyan Marg on Friday night.
Upon investigation, it was found that the victim and the accused both worked as day labourers at a tent store on Udhayan Marg. while the accused, Ajit Kumar Jha, resides in Chunna Mandi, Paharganj.
In the CCTV footage, the accused was allegedly seen punching, kicking, and striking the victim with a stick, according to the police.
The victim, who was identified as Joginder and was thought to be in his 50s, had numerous facial bruises and abrasions. Police added that although he was rushed to a hospital, the physicians there ruled him dead on arrival.
