Delhi Police Week 2018: Road Safety Awareness Campaigns, interactive session organized for Students!

New Delhi: As part of Delhi Police Week Celebrations 2018, Delhi Traffic Police organized various interactive programmes with people belonging to different walks of life like school teachers, students, college students, traffic sentinels, Bus/truck drivers, TSR drivers, etc. The programmes have been organised to bridge the gap between police and public and also to sensitize them about the importance of traffic rules and following the same.
In a bid to educate School students from Different schools in Delhi about traffic rules, Delhi Police today organized, on the Spot Painting Competition and Prize Distribution of School Road Safety Awareness Campaign 2017-2018 In Capital. The Programme was Graced by the Chief Guest, Amulya Patnaik,IPS, Commissioner of Police, Delhi.
A nukkad natak aimed at creating awareness against Road Safety was also conducted at India Gate on the occasion of Delhi police week 2018.
Earlier, Celebrating Delhi Police Week, a group of 60 senior citizens from the South-East district were taken out for a heritage tour of the city on Sunday by the force.The participants, escorted by beat officers, were first taken to the DCP south-east office before making their way to Humayun’s Tomb, Nizammuddin, in two buses.
