DIG ITBP Aparna Kumar called on the Hon’ble Union Home minister

New Delhi. Renowned ITBP mountaineer, Aparna Kumar, DIG, today met Amit Shah, Union Home Minister and shared her experience about completion of seven summits challenge. S S Deswal, DG ITBP was also present on the occasion.

She was awarded the prestigious Tenzing Norgay National Adventure Award recently by the Hon’ble President recently for her unique achievements in the field of mountaineering.

She had completed the seven summits challenge by scaling top 7 peaks of all 7 continents by summiting Mt. Denali in North America recently.

Amit Shah congratulated the officer on her rare feat and wished her all the best for her future endeavors.
