Greater Noida (20/1/2019) : Today once again the employee of Moser Baer India Limited (MBIL), Greater Noida has raised their voice against the injustice happening with them from last sixteen months.
On November 1, Moser Baer passed a circular in which the company stated that the plant was to be shut down temporarily till November 3 for conversion of Diesel Generator (DG) sets from Heavy Fuel Oil or HFO to alternative compatible fuel as per the Supreme Court order that banned HFO.

But thereafter on November 4 Company locked out the premises and terminated around 2280 employees with any notice or explanation. At that time also all the employees had protested in front of collect rate and had approached every responsible authority and person. In between all this, some of them also had said to commit suicide if their demands were not fulfilled.

But even after all this nothing concrete happened in their fair. Today talking to Ten News the employees explained their problems they were facing and also put some serious allegations on management and their relations with political leaders.
“The workers told that it’s getting very difficult for us to run our livelihood we dint had got a single rupee from last 16 months we don’t have Ration at our homes school fees for our children’s are unpaid many of us had shifted our children’s to the government school. Some of the employees also lost their life because of the shock they have after their dismissal from the job.”

“Haven’t received their gratuity, Provident Fund (PF) and other compensations while the close associates of the company have received their gratuity in full even after the liquidation process was initiated.”

Satendra Nagar, former Production Manager, Moser Baer India, revealed some shocking facts to Ten News and raised some question that needs to answer from the management side. He told that “Deepak Puri is the brother-in-law of Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath as he is married to Nath’s sister, Neeta Puri. During UPA 1 and 2, using Nath’s influence, the petition alleges that Rs. 6,596 crores were given as loan through multiple banks. The petition asks that like Amrapali, Jaypee and Sahara, Moser Baer India’s owners, management and Indian banks associated with the fraud “should be penalized”.

However, answering to news daily over these allegations Deepak Puri states, “These are baseless allegations by workmen”. “Ratul Puri started HPPPL way back in 2007-2008 totally independently and always wanted to pursue his own business in areas other than technology”.

Satendra Nagar further claimed that it’s a fraud of seven thousand crores that needed to be a concern by the government but unfortunately both the central and state government seems to be getting failed in this.
