District hospital set to get NABH stamp, health services to improve

The district hospital has been shortlisted for NABH accreditation under the ‘UP Health System Strengthening Project’ (UPHSSP). NABH, a constituent board of the Quality Council of India, gives accreditation to healthcare organisations. The hospital, one of 40 district-level medical hospitals to be shortlisted, has been asked to furnish details about medical facilities and treatment provided to patients, which will be analysed before awarding accreditation.
