Greater Noida (February 12, 2025): Bharat Tex 2025, a mega textile industry event, commenced today at India Expo Mart, Greater Noida, with Union Minister of Textiles Giriraj Singh inaugurating the prestigious exhibition. The event, running from February 12 to 15 at this venue, will continue in its second phase at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, from February 14 to 17, 2025. Bringing together industry leaders, artisans, manufacturers, and buyers from around the world, the event underscores India’s position as a global textile hub.
Speaking at the inaugural ceremony, Dr. Mahesh Sharma, Member of Parliament from Gautam Buddha Nagar, lauded the textile sector’s dynamism and visionary expansion, describing it as a space “where grandeur meets innovation.” He also commended Dr. Rakesh Kumar for his visionary role in conceptualizing the India Expo Centre & Mart nearly three decades ago, which has since evolved into a hub for global events and business activities.
Dr. Sharma emphasized the significant economic and infrastructural impact of such events, particularly in boosting business, tourism, and regional development. He highlighted the importance of the India Expo Mart in facilitating global trade and its strategic location, especially with Asia’s largest airport set to open in Jewar, Uttar Pradesh.
