New Delhi : Today, Delhi University students initiated a protest rally against one of their guest lecturer who recently while teaching students passed on an insensitive comment regarding the martyrs of Pulwama Tragedy. He said “Border Par Government Sipahi ko Marne k Liye hi Bhejti hai. ”
After this incident, student unions of Delhi University gathered and raised their voices against the guest lecturer.
According to them, the guest lecturer is actually a PhD student who is appointed as a guest lecturer in the university. Students now demand his resignation.
Speaking to Ten News, a Law student named Devender said,
“We are against the Guest Lecturer Awasthi who is behaving as a superior under the power of Dean Law. Our brothers/fathers are all spending their lives on borders to let us live in peace. One should never speak bad about them and here in our educational arena, a lecturer who is supposed to spread knowledge, is speaking ill about the martyrs in recently happened terror activity in Pulwama.”
