ED arrests Sisodia’s PA; BJP worried over Gujarat polls, alleges Deputy CM

New Delhi, 5 November 2022: In connection with the excise policy corruption case, Delhi’s deputy chief minister, Manish Sisodia’s personal assistant has allegedly been arrested from his residence in a raid by the ED.
Recently, Sisodia had posted on social media that the ED has detained his PA today in a raid, “By filing a bogus FIR, they forced entry into my home, checked bank safes, and visited my village, but they were unable to find anything against me. My PA’s home was raided by ED today, but they were unable to locate anything; as a result, they arrested him and took him away. BJP members! The dread of losing the election is so great.”
He further accused the center of being worried about dropping out of the next Gujarat poll.
According to sources, an investigation team had stormed into Devinder Sharma’s home in east Delhi earlier today and took him with them for questioning.
