EPCH elects seven new CoA members in its 39th AGM

NEW DELHI – 30th December, 2025 – Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts (EPCH) today successfully concluded its 39th Annual General Meeting at New Delhi. The Meeting was chaired by Dr. Neeraj Khanna, Chairman-EPCH in the presence of Dr. Rakesh Kumar, Director General in the role of Chief Mentor, EPCH and Chairman, IEML & Mr. Sagar Mehta, Vice Chairman-EPCH. Also leading member exporters were present in the meeting including Mr. Ravi K. Passi, Mr. Raj Kumar Malhotra, Mr. D. Kumar, Mr. Nirmal Bhandari, Mr. Lekhraj Maheshwari, Mr. Avdhesh Agarwal, Mr. Rajesh Jain, Mr. Prince Malik, Mr. Naved Ur Rehman, Mr. Salman Azam, Mr. Rohit Dhall, Mr. O.P. Prahladka, Mr. Pradip Muchhala, Mr. Ashok Boob, Mr. K N Tulasi Rao, M. Naresh Bothra, Mr. K. L. Ramesh, Mr. Ashok Arora, Mr. Arshad Mir, Mr. Najmul Islam, Mr. Vishal Agarwal, Mr. J P Singh, Mr. Vikas Bhardwaj; Mr. R. K. Verma, Executive Director – EPCH, Mr. Rajesh Rawat, Addl. Executive Director-EPCH and other eminent member exporters from various parts of the country.

Dr. Neeraj Khanna, Chairman-EPCH chaired the 39th Annual General Meeting and briefed the gathering about various activities and initiatives undertaken by the Council during 2024-25 toward the promotion of exports of handicrafts from the Country.

One of the agenda items of the 39th AGM was to constitute the vacancies as per available vacancies i.e. four vacancies in Central Region, one in Northern Region and two in North-west Region. The House adopted all the agendas including the election of CoA members informed by Mr. Rajesh Rawat, Addl. Executive Director-cum-ecretary-EPCH and returning officer.

The elected members are from the Central Region-Moradabad: Mr. Naved Ur Rehman, M/s Zed Sons; Mr. Rohit Dhall, M/s H. Lal International; Mr. Salman Azam, M/s S.A.F Exports; Mr. Zeeshan Ali, M/s Innovative Handicrafts; from the Northern Region: Mr. Varun Sharma, M/s Inmark Exports Pvt. Ltd, New Delhi in Young entrepreneur/startup and from the North-West Region: Mr. Girish Kumar Agrawal, M/s Sankalp International, Jaipur & Mr. Nirmal Bhandari, M/s Bhandari Exports, Jodhpur.
Dr. Neeraj Khanna, Chairman-EPCH, on behalf of EPCH expressed his appreciation to outgoing members of the Committee of Administration for their contribution and services provided during their tenure for handicrafts trade. Further, Dr. Khanna warmly welcomed newly inducted members to the Committee of Administration and urged all member exporters to extend joint and collaborative support and efforts towards the betterment and growth of the handicrafts sector.

Dr. Khanna further informed that Mr. Rajesh Rawat, Additional Executive Director, will assume the role of Executive Director, EPCH, and lead the handicrafts ecosystem into its next phase of growth and development. On behalf of the Committee of Administration (CoA), he welcomed Mr. Rawat and extended best wishes for his success in this new role. The CoA also extended heartfelt felicitations to Mr. R. K. Verma for his over 38 years of distinguished leadership and exemplary contributions in building EPCH from its inception and guiding it to its present stature. The Committee conveyed its deep appreciation and wished him good health, happiness, and continued fulfillment in the years ahead.
