EPCH India Pavilion Inaugurated at Ambiente’25, Messe Frankfurt, Germany

Delhi/NCR – 08th February’2025 – The Ambiente, 2025 got underway at Frankfurt and will conclude on 11th February’ 2025. The India Pavilion in Ambiente Fair, 2025 was inaugurated by Mr. B. S. Mubarak, Consul General, Consulate General of India, Frankfurt, Germany in the presence of Mr. Dileep Baid, Chairman EPCH; Prince Malik, Rajesh K. Jain,  Arshad Mir & Kamal Soni, CoA Members EPCH; Mr. Nipun Pande, Addl. Development Commissioner (Handloom); Mr. Thomas Kastl, Director of Ambiente; and Mr. Winston Pereira, Executive Director of Messe Frankfurt India Trade Fair and member exporters and visitors at Messe Frankfurt on 07th February, 2025 informed by R. K. Verma, Executive Director –EPCH.

B. S. Mubarak, Consul General, Consulate General of India, Frankfurt, Germany along with the other official visited the EPCH pavilion and interacted with participants and was delighted with the large variety of Indian handicrafts products on display in Ambiente’25.

Dileep Baid, Chairman EPCH said that Ambiente being one of the most important international fairs held in Germany where large number of international buyers visit to source their requirements and with such participation of Indian exporters at the fair increases the possibility of exports growth to the overseas markets. He added that the participants are displaying exquisite Gifts, Decoratives, Christmas Decoration, Fashion jewellery, wooden handicrafts items, textiles furnishing, leather products, lamps & lighting, ceramics, Incenses, bags and bathroom accessories in 3 sections – Living, Dining, Giving Sections at Ambiente 2025. Mr. Baid further said that the cooperation extended by the Indian mission in Germany is commendable, as it greatly facilitates our participation every year.

R. K. Verma, Executive Director–EPCH informed that Ambiente 2025 – world famous Consumer Goods Fair showcases around 3000 exhibitors worldwide. India’s participation in Ambiente’25 will add to the vibrancy and diversity of the fair and familiarize global manufacturers, retailers and brands with the robust entrepreneurship in Indian Home Decor, Gifts & consumer products industry and will open up opportunities for sourcing from India. He further informed Council’s participation with 59 exporters at the fair is attracting visitors from across the globe.

Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts is a nodal organization for promotion of exports of handicrafts from the country and create brand image of magic of the gifted hands of millions of artisans and crafts persons engaged in production of home, lifestyle, textiles, furniture, and fashion jewellery & accessories in craft clusters of the country. The overall Handicrafts exports during the year 2023-24 was Rs. 32,759 Crores (US $ 3,956 Million), with exports to Germany was Rs. 1,530.14 crore (USD 184.88 million) informed Shri. R. K. Verma, Executive Director – EPCH.
